Bears and Comets advance to Provincials

Several high school volleyball teams from the northeast region have already punched their tickets for Provincials.
 
Over the weekend, L.P. Miller High School in Nipawin hosted the 4A North Regionals tournament. The home team would come out on top beating Melfort in the final 2-0. Both teams were undefeated in the preliminary round.
 
The 3A girls’ tournament was held in Wakaw. The home team finished first, beating Wynyard 2-0 in the final match. Foam Lake faced Preeceville in the bronze medal game but lost 2-0.
 
The 4A Provincial Girls’ tournament will be played in Clavet Nov. 16 and Nov. 17. Carrot River will host the 3A tournament. The boys’ 1A to 4A Regionals will take place the same weekend
