Mustangs nab three of four players of the month awards

After a month for the Melfort Mustangs where they went 10-2, they almost swept the players of the month.

Justin Ball was named player of the month for November, while Kayle Tosh was defenceman of the month, and Shawn Parkinson was goalie of the month.

Ball had 11 goals and nine assists in 12 games, and had points in every game as part of his 27 game point streak. He leads the league in goals, and points.

From the blue line, Tosh tallied three goals and 12 assists over the month and now leads all defencemen in scoring.

In net, Parkinson starred with his new team, going 7-0 in the month, holding a goals against average of 1.00, and a save percentage of .960.

Estevan netminder Grant Boldt was named rookie of the month.

After a pair of losses this weekend, the Mustangs will look to get back into the win column on Friday as they head to Melville for a meeting with the Millionaires.
