Humboldt Broncos bus crash case adjourned again

Dec 18, 2018 | 9:37 AM

The case of the semi driver charged after the Humboldt Broncos bus crash won’t be back in court until the new year.

The lawyer for Jaskirat Sidhu appeared by phone in Melfort Provincial Court, and was granted an adjournment to Jan. 8 as he reviews the provincial government’s recently released report on the crash.

Sidhu faces 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily injury.

The bus and semi collided at the Armley Corner April 6, as the Broncos were travelling to Nipawin to face the Hawks in the SJHL playoffs.
