Trial date set for man charged in Tisdale school threat

The 18 year-old charged with uttering threats at Tisdale Middle and Secondary school will go to trial in April.
 
Jarad Tiedjens was in Melfort Provincial Court on Tuesday where a trial date of April 2 was set.
 
RCMP said in a release that Tiedjens was taken into custody after allegedly making social media threats towards the school on the morning of Sept. 27. The school was placed under a hold and secure but was back to normal operations later in the morning.
 
Tiedjens has been out on recognizance since his Sept. 28 court appearance. His trial will take place in Tisdale.
