Man sought after stabbing in Melfort

A 22-year-old man is wanted after a stabbing in Melfort.

RCMP say a man was stabbed in his back and neck in the early morning hours of Jan. 26., and was taken to Royal University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for Triston Lundgren from the Melfort area in connection with the incident. He is also believed to have assaulted a woman at the home and remains at large.

According to RCMP,  Lundgren is transient and has ties across Saskatchewan. He is described as being five feet nine inches tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call their nearest RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.

RCMP have also confirmed Lundgren is the brother of Bradley Clinton Lundgren, who was reported missing from the Besnard Correctional Camp in La Ronge last Monday. It is not known if the two brothers are together.
