Lake Lenore ice fishing derby promises $10,000 grand prize

Hundreds of anglers are expected to converge this Saturday for the Lake Lenore Lions ice fishing derby.
 
The top prize for this year is a guaranteed $10,000 for the biggest fish caught between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Humboldt Chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) will host their premier fundraising event in just under three weeks.

Local students get scholarship funding from BHP

BHP has announced the recipients of $75,000 in scholarships to students in communities surrounding the Jansen Project.

Newly formed Kin Club in St. Brieux welcomed by Kin Canada

After over a year of work, the town of St. Brieux now has a Kin Club.
 
On Friday, Jan. 12, the club was officially chartered into district 3 kinsmen and kinettes.
