Tisdale Elementary School completes renovations

The more things change, the more things stay the same. At least for students returning to Tisdale Elementary School.

Renovations were done at the Kindergarten to Grade 5 school over the summer to put in new shelving systems and individual lockers in each classroom for students. 

Sandra Norum, principal for Tisdale Elementary School, told northeastNOW there might be a few minor things to fix such as hanging up bulletin boards, but the upgrades have gone well over the summer. 

“Everything is quite safe in all the classrooms,” Norum said. “All the teachers have been working extremely hard to get it looking top notch. There shouldn’t be any problems when students arrive.”

Norum said the school’s gym is expected to close for a few days in the upcoming weeks for one more upgrade, a new projection system.
