Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Donation Opportunities

Nov 28, 2018 | 8:10 AM

Since 2006 it has been our joy and pleasure to support bluegrass and old-time music and artists.

We host a music camp and festival in August. Throughout the year we host concerts, special events, dances and music jams that are open to all.

Accessibility is so important to us that we have a Send a Kid to Camp program for those under 18, and an Accessible Music Instruction Fund, for youths 18 to 25 who face challenges affording music camp. Our school workshops have reached over 2000 children, mostly in rural Saskatchewan and our evening concerts and dances bring all ages together in both large and small communities.

We also have a radio show, Northern Lights Music Hall, on CFCR radio, and we offer a bluegrass brunch every Sunday at Bon Temps Café in Saskatoon.

That is a big list!

It is work that we love to do, but there are costs. Every year the challenges seem to get bigger, and the dollars seem to get smaller.

For the first time ever, we are asking friends like you to consider making a donation. You will receive a charitable tax receipt for every donation over $10.00, and a coveted Northern Lights Bluegrass sticker.
