Barry Samuel Rogers was born on September 17, 1955 and passed away peacefully at the Melfort Hospital surrounded by family on October 21, 2026 at the age of 71.

He was the son of Thomas and Breta Rogers, the third oldest of eight children. He attended school in Melfort up to grade 8.

Throughout his life he worked on the family farm, Seismic Surveying in Alberta and various other jobs until he started with the City of Melfort in the spring of 1977 until 2007. After that he went and worked around Saskatchewan and Manitoba. His greatest adventures were going out to the farm where he participated in combining, bailing and looking after the cattle.

Barry is survived by his children:

Jorand Rogers (Jamie Genaille) of Melfort and their children: Jordan (Reyla), Ethan, Ashlynn (Brandon (March), Gavin, Ayden, Adalynn), Brody

Taryn (Dale) Essar of Saskatoon and their son   Zabian

Ashley (Jamie) Vancoughnett of Warman and their children: Stella, Tayte and Julien

and their mother, Shirley Rogers.

His siblings: Martin (Brenda), John (Wanda), Terry (Theresa), Trent (Jackie), Jim (Connie), Murray (Erna) and Beth (Darren) Wilkie and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by:
