HANCOCK, Bertha Marguerite November 2, 1934 – September 1, 2026

Bertha Hancock passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 91 years.

Born in the village of Ridgedale, SK, she grew up on the family farm and graduated from Ridgedale Village School before moving away to enjoy a proud 45-year accounting career with Eecol Electric Ltd. Bertha always cherished returning home to Saskatchewan for family gatherings.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Mildred Kennedy; brother, Blair Hancock; sister-in-law, Marianne Hancock; brother-in-law, Morris Kennedy; and her nieces and nephews, Janet Zatka, Brian Robinson, Brenda Kleiboer, Debbie Kulchysky, Kelly Hancock, Laura Reed, Glen Zapisocki, Cory Zapisocki, Donna Weldon, Leanne Appl, Miranda Kennedy, and Crystal Fuhrer, alongside a growing generation of great-and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Annie Hancock; four sisters and two brothers.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, (905 – 101st Avenue, Tisdale, SK) on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
