Chase Althouse
Posted Sep 25, 2020 | 3:27 PM
Chase was welcomed into this world by his sister Kayleah, sister Taylor and brother Austin.
Chase lived with his family in Tisdale from 2005 to 2014 when the family moved to Candle Lake.
While in Tisdale Chase was welcomed by his grandparents Kim and Leona Althouse and Don and Donna Reed who enjoyed his humour and easy-going attitude. His special times were accompanying Don and Donna on many outdoor excursions snowmobiling, fishing and campfires.
His love of the outdoors carried on after moving to Candle Lake with Chase riding his quad, dirt bike, and snowmobile as much as possible. He mastered the trampoline and took great pleasure in scaring the begeebers out of his mother and grandmother.
Chase’s family spent a lot of time on Candle Lake where he loved fishing and knee-boarding.
Chase attended Meath Park School from Grade 4 to Grade 10 participating in basketball and track and field. He could be found playing video games with any number of his friends most days.
Chase will be sadly missed by his mom Pam, his brother, Austin and his sisters: Kayleah (Taylor Judge) and Taylor (Kole Martin Mack) as well as his grandparents; Kim and Leona Althouse, his Aunt Ashley (Chris), cousins: Brenton and Jayme, his uncle Dwayne St. Germain and the Reed family.
Chase will be missed by all for his loving and gentle spirit.
Chase was predeceased by his step-father Trevor Wikberg (2018) and his uncles David Campbell (2019), and Craig Althouse (1990).
A Private Celebration of Life Service was held at the Candle Lake Community Hall, Candle Lake, SK.
When the day arrives
that we are no longer apart,
I’ll smile and hold you close to me
…Forever in my heart.
