Dana Rae Denys, 40, of Melfort, Saskatchewan, unexpectedly passed away on January 9th, 2024. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her passing.
Dane was born on April 4th, 1983 to Gail and Mark Denys in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan. Dana grew up in Melfort, attending Brunswick School for her early years and later graduating from MUCC. She attended SIAST Parkland Campus and completed her Office Administration certificate.
Dana had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was a private person that preferred to have deep meaningful friendships. She was witty, funny, and possessed an emotional intelligence to see into a person’s heart and soul. She was strong-willed and stubborn, which led to many debates and discussions over every topic imaginable.
Dana found joy in many things. She was an avid crafter, in every way and anyway possible, including collecting craft supplies. She spent countless hours perfecting her skills before moving onto the next challenge. Friends and family will forever cherish her creations.
Dana had an adventurous spirit. She found fun filled opportunities in taking her nephews to the park, trips to Saskatoon and the lake, and her beloved hot holidays. No matter where she went she collected mementos of her adventures and left glitter in her wake.
From age 13, Dana suffered from Ankylosing Spondylitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Despite the countless medical appointments and treatments, Dana chose to live her life to the fullest. She faced everyday with courage and brought joy to all those that knew her.
A Private Service has already been held. Those wishing to leave condolences for the family are invited to visit the online guestbook at www.fedusiakfuneralchapel.com
