Ernie came to Yellow Creek in 1962 with his mother Margaret Kruppi. He started farming on the Toth farm with his mom and stepdad Steve Toth.
Ernie loved cattle and his dogs; JB and Grizz, but also appreciated all animals and wildlife. Ernie was dedicated to working at the hog barn, the staff there, and he was passionate about hunting, fishing, gardening, flowers, picking cans and berry picking.
He also really enjoyed doing thinks for other people; like shovelling and blowing snow, etc.
Ernie was always very sociable and mischievous, always joking around and playing tricks on people.
He also enjoyed family time in Alberta with his kids.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
