Faye Alice Greier

Faye Alice Greier passed away on February 23, 2022 at the Melfort Hospital after a brief struggle with cancer. Faye was born May 15, 1949 to Irene and Dennis Cox at Humboldt, SK. She was married to Wesley Greier on August 5, 1966. They moved to Melfort in 1972.
Faye was very hard working, generous and giving. If she wasn’t working you would often find her in her kitchen. She loved baking, cooking and spending time with her family. She was “mom” and “grandma” to many.
Faye is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, her daughter Cindy (Troy) Worley of Melfort and her son, Sheldon (Kim) Greier of Melfort. Grandchildren Thomas (Mary) Worley of Melfort, Sarah (Kyle Kinzel) Worley of Dalmeny, Nina (Tyler) Skiftun of Melfort, Aracellie Greier and Caelynn Frazer of Melfort and Carteea Naigle of Saskatoon. Great-grandchildren Weston, Watson and Waylon Worley of Melfort and Dayn Frazer of Melfort. Sister Pat (Nestor) Nowakowski of Wadena and Sister-in-law Shirley Cox of Norquay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Faye was predeceased by her father, her mother and her brother, Rodney Cox.
A service celebrating Faye’s life was held from the Melfort United Church on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 with Reverend Jonathan Worrall officiating. Her interment will take place at a later date.
