It is with deep sadness that the family of Frank Arley Burlock announces his passing on December 7, 2024 in Melfort, SK at the age of 85.

Frank (known also as Arley) was the eldest child born to Dan Burlock and Irene (Kimmie) on August 28, 1939 in Tisdale, SK.  He had one sister, Audrey (Sundin).

In 1965, Frank married Margaret (Grosh) and three children were born to this union: Daniel, Denise and Dion.  They lived most of their years in Gronlid, until 2019 when the couple moved to Melfort.

Through the years his occupations included: painting elevators, road construction and school bus driver/mechanic.

His love for hunting, fishing and camping gave him great enjoyment.  Many summers were spent in the campground at East Trout Lake.  Their children and grandchildren hold warm memories of being on the boat with Dad / Grandpa / Papa and reeling in their big catch, followed by gathering at night around the campfire that he had meticulously prepared for the family.

Frank will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Margaret; children: Daniel (Dawn), Denise (Michael), and Dion; his six grandchildren: Jadyn (Dylan Van de Veen), Matthew (Taylar Gillert), Andrew, Lucas, Shae and Maisie; and three great grandchildren: Sophie, Kira and Henry.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister, father-in-law and mother-in-law.

At Frank’s request, a private family interment will be held in the Spring.
