Gayle was born May 28, 1940 to Hubert and Andria Lyons in Carrot River, Saskatchewan.
As a child, Gayle enjoyed figure skating, playing with her siblings and extended family.
She met and married James Kasal of Aylsham. They raised 3 children Kevin (1964-1967), Kimberly and Ryan on the farm at Aylsham.
Gayle left the farm in 1988, later moving to Melfort, where she met Philip Boyes. They shared a home on Milburn Street, where their new neighbors quickly became part of their extended family.
Gayle and Phil finally tied the knot March 9, 2013. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing and MANY late nights at the Casino.
Gayle was predeceased by her mother Andria, father Hubert, sister Yvonne, brother-in-law John Zezula, son Kevin, James Kasal and many other family members.
Left to Cherish her memory are: her husband Philip Boyes; daughter Kimberly Neumann and her children Jared, Karl and Taylor; son Ryan (Martha) Kasal and children: Katelyn (Jared) Puryk and their children Owen and Paityn; Chelsey (Mike) Driedger and their children Brandon, Bohde and Beck; Kelly Kasal; Kevin (Kris) Emard and their family; Robin (Curtis) Emard and their family; Anthony Emard; sister Andria (Ross) Hannah; brothers: Bert (Darlene) Lyons and Ian Lyons and his son Chauncey; sister-in-law Betty Woolsey and brother-in-law John Boyes as well as many nieces, nephews, other great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
