It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Armer announces her passing on September 20, 2018, at the age of 86 in Kinistino, SK.  Helen was born on November 19, 1931, in Kincaid, SK to Thorvold and Selma Amundson, she was one of six children.  On December 18, 1954, Helen married Ernie Armer at the Lutheran Church in Weldon, SK.  Helen’s caring, giving nature brought her to teach at Buckland and Lund Schools, as well as spending 20 years working as a cook at the Jubilee Lodge.

Helen will forever be remembered and missed by her only son Wayne Armer of Prince Albert, numerous nieces, (great) nephews, (great) cousins, in-laws as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Ernie Armer on September 15, 1995, siblings Aimee, Shirley, Roaland, Alice and Torrie; brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations in memory of ­­­­­­­Helen may be made to The Jubilee Lodge, #312 Meyers Ave, Kinistino, SK S0J 1H0 or The Weldon Lutheran Cemetery, Box 145 Weldon, SK S0J 3A0.

 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Weldon Lutheran Church, with Rev. Brian Langendoen officiating.  Reception to be held at Silvertone Lodge, Weldon, SK.
