Helen Julia Huculak

It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Huculak announces her peaceful passing on October 23, 2025 at the Tisdale Hospital.

Helen will be remembered for her strong spirit, generous heart and a deep love for her family. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures; like watching the birds outside her window, knitting cozy treasures for those she loved and sharing her homemade perogies with anyone lucky to visit. Nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her children and her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Her kindness, warmth and love will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

Helen is predeceased by her husband William, daughter-in-law Elaine, niece Denise, nephew David and her parents William and Polly Dmytrow.

Left to cherish Helen’s memory is her son Stan Huculak and his children Marissa and Conrad; son Mike Huculak; son Carl (Kathy) Huculak, their children Theo ( Cydney) and Cody (Abby) and their children Jack and Scottie; daughter Anna (Daniel) Ley, their children Tanya, James (Danni) and their children Declan, Levi, Adleigh and Tucker, Theresa (Cameron) and their children Halona, Essence, Danika and Athena, Chad Hardcastle (Kelly) and their son Ben, Daughter Darlene (Darryl) and their daughter Brooklyn.

She is also survived by her sister Olga Dmytrow and brother Fred Dmytrow (Emily); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also, two very special friends in Helen’s life, Ron Forsyth and Fred Pask.

We, the family of Helen would like to thank all of the staff at Tisdale Hospital and Tisdale Homecare for the excellent care given.
