Keith Ronald Gray
Wednesday, March 3rd, 1943 – Friday, April 12th, 2019
Keith Ronald Gray lived 76 years with endless curiosity, a devilish wit, an unmatched work ethic, a love for people and nature but the worst poker face.
He was a jack of all trades from farmer, mechanic, shop foreman, welder, electrician, plumber, designer, fabricator and carpenter.
He was constantly thinking up ideas and projects. These included building his own house, shop, numerous trailers, sheds, cabinetry and furniture.
His favourite works in progress were his family. A 54 year marriage to Sharon and the kids, Rick (Claire), Reg, Leann (Jamie) were his pride and joy.
Keith was an avid outdoorsman. Many family vacations were spent camping and fishing at Tobin Lake with Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Mary.
Hunting season was not missed. The large garden and flower beds were tended meticulously with plenty of potatoes, carrots and raspberries. His lilies were special.
He was a people person, happy to swap stories, tears and jokes or share experiences and knowledge. Keith always has a ready hand to give if asked, was humble and kind. His best advise was to “just get there and try.” Love of life, family and friends was his “super power.” This is the life Keith built.
His family would like to acknowledge the amazing care and support he was given by the various care givers, doctors, nurses and staff in Tisdale, Saskatoon and Melfort.
