Kerry Richard Jones was born on June 8, 1950, and passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. He was a real encyclopedia of music who loved to challenge a new song with his trusty guitar and God given voice. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard Jones and Arlene Jones; brother Randy; sister Linda; and nieces Penny and Tonia.

He is survived by brothers Kent, Phil, Ricky, and Ron; sisters Sherry, Mel and Loreli; daughters Tammy, Carrie-Anne, Jessica, Tara (Matt), adopted son Landon; grandchildren Jacquiline and Keaton; great-grandchildren Amelia and Mason; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kerry was born in Prince Albert, SK and was raised in Mayview, SK. Edmonton became his home for many years until 2006 when he moved out to Canora, SK. Taking his talent of over 50 years of concrete work to McTavish Concrete, training the art of the trade to the crew who became family.

A celebration of Kerry’s life will be held at a later date in 2025 in Saskatchewan. Kerry is now singing a melody up in Heaven.
