Larry Anthony Fitzpatrick was born in Melfort on March 13th , 1956 in the Melfort Hospital to John and Fern Fitzpatrick. He was injured at birth and spent his whole life in a wheel chair. At the age of 2 in 1958 he went with his mom, dad, brothers and grandmother to the International Assembly in New York by train. He made much use of equipment made by his father such as his first wheel chair, his “head piece” and card playing board. His life changed drastically when he received his handi-voice from Telemiracle. Because of that he was able to say “I love you” in words to his mother and was also able to for some time to make comments at the Watchtower study. For some period of time he was very much involved with a Ham radio which friend Richard Gratias and his father helped him with. In his early years he liked the Stock Car races in Melfort on the track just outside of town. He lived for some 20 years in Saskatoon where he made much use of a motorized wheel chair. The new videos on JW.Org were enjoyed very much my him. When he was well in Melfort the ministry was am important part of his life. He had a regular magazine call in Melfort for many years. He was looking forward to Paradise when as Isa. 35:6 says he will leap and run like the deer.
He is survived by his mother Fern Helen Fitzpatrick, his brother Lloyd (Pauline) and his sister-in-law Caroline and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father John David Fitzpatrick and brother Lyle Fitzpatrick.
Larry was noted for a good sense of humor.
