Marion Durell

Marion Elvera Aasen was born on July 24, 1926, the eldest daughter of Edwin and Elvera Aasen. They also had Beatrice Irene, Ronnie, Viola and Ella.
Marion met the love of her life, a handsome Swede, Leonard Durell in the Bagley district. They were married on January 13, 1945 at the home of Marion’s parents.
They traveled to Victoria by train to pursue work but came back to help farm with Leonard’s father.
They started their family with Garry, Wayne twin boys Ronald & Roland who passed at birth, Patsy and Mavis.
Marion’s favorite things were Maxwell house instant coffee, white round scotch peppermints, loved babies, writing the Bagley news for years. Enjoyed Mission Circle meetings and singing with her siblings. Leonard and Marion enjoyed traveling to Sweden, Norway and many other excursions.
She is loved and will be missed by her children, grandchildren great grandchildren, family and many friends.
Memorial contributions in memory of Marion may be directed to the Bagley Baptist Mission Circle and/or Bagley Baptist Cemetery Fund.
