Mary Lang was born to George and Paulina Hanofski one of thirteen children. She was raised on the family farm until they relocated to Regina, Sask.

On October 19, 1963 Mary married the love of her life Albert Lang. Together they raised their daughter Denise. They made their life together on Albert’s father’s homestead. They had a mixed grain farm, livestock cattle, pigs milk cows and chickens. The family of three would butcher between 500- 800 chickens each year. In 1983 they moved to Regina and in 2002 Albert and Mary moved to Melfort where they resided at the time of Mary’s passing on July 29, 2024. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, granny and friend.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Albert of nearly 61 years. Their only daughter Denise (George) Listwan; grandchildren Ashley and Justin, great grandson Austin. Her brothers Harold, Rudy and Eddy, sisters-in-law Mary Hanofski, Dolly Hanofski, Anne Lang and Evelyn Donauer. Brother-in-law Konrad Lang, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Paulina (Exner) Hanofski. Siblings Ida, Bill, Rose, Theresa, John, Annie, Emma, George and her twin brother Joey, plus many brothers and sisters-in-law.
