Murray Alden Klassen

September 20, 1957 – May 6, 2025

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Murray Alden Klassen, at the age of 67.

He passed away surrounded by family in Melfort, SK on May 6, 2025.

Murray was fond of fishing, hunting, gardening and the great outdoors. He enjoyed listening to the radio, playing cards, and relaxing by a warm fire. He also enjoyed hockey, football, and shows about hard working folk that were often on television. Most of all, Murray enjoyed visiting with close neighbors and adored time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Cherishing his memory are his loving wife Liz of 44 years; children Dan (Roxanne) Klassen, Tanya (Anthony) Wysoskey (nee Klassen), and Ryan (Bailey) Klassen, as well as his two grandchildren Julianna and Adalynn.

Surviving family members include siblings Linda Ens (nee Klassen), Lori Davis (nee Klassen), Wade, Wes, Terry and Evan Klassen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Previously departed are Murray’s parents Julius and Helen Klassen (nee Dyck), brothers Bob and Ray Klassen, as well as dear friends Lance and Darwin Bowman.

Anyone wishing to do so may plant a tree or make a donation to a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Murray’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fedusiak Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
