It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Olive Margaret Bye-Morrison, on July 14, 2021 at the Pineview Long Term Care Home in Nipawin, SK at the age of 90 years. Olive was born to parents Harry and Miriam (Teneycke) Campbell. She was the youngest child – born in a family of eight.
Olive attended elementary school in Flett’s Springs and High School at Ethelton High School. She trained as a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked at the Lady Minto Hospital (now Melfort Hospital). She later worked for Dr. R. Pannell and Dr. R. Kolke; who later became a part of a much larger association of physicians, known then as the Melfort Medical Clinic, where she continued to care for people over many years until her retirement. On April 17, 1952, she married Allan Arthur Morrison in the Ethelton United Church. To this union four children were born: Robert (Bob), Elizabeth (Beth), Terry, and Arlene. Later, she married Cyril B. Bye December 28, 1983.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
