Phyllis Lorraine Scott

Phyllis Lorraine Scott (Uffelman) was born December 8, 1928, to Ernest & Mary Uffelman in Melfort Sask. She was raised on the Uffelman farm in the Naisberry District. Phyllis completed her Grade12 in Melfort while living with her sister Evelyn & family. After completing her high school education, she worked at the Melfort Creamery and then at the bank as a Teller. While she was working and on her own, she met a young Thaxted boy Clayton Scott they married in Melfort April 6,1949. They were blessed with six children.
To cherish her memory, she leaves to mourn Sharon Buchberger, Brenda (Rick) Heavin, Carol Scott, Tim (Ann) Scott, Tammy Scott (James Reimer).
Grandchildren: Barry (Cheryl) Buchberger, Gary (Sheila) Buchberger, Adam (Meredith) Heavin, Ashley (Rob) Heavin, Michelle (Darioush) Sabet, John (Gabrielle) Chartrand.
Great Grandchildren: Heather Porth, Rikki (Colton) Lornson, Daniel Buchberger, Chelsea Buchberger, Gyleasa, Mikayla, and Evan Heavin, Rozlynn Gaudet, Ahmad, Mishkin, and Vahid Sabet.
Great Great Grandchildren: Jazmyn Porth, Charlie Florence, Otto and Ellie Lornson.
Sister Elaine Mansfield, Sister-in-law Audrey Ashmead, Sister-in-law Shirley (Dave) Geddes, Brother-in-law Irving (Alice) Scott.
She was predeceased by her Parents Ernest & Mary Uffelman, her Husband Clayton Scott, Daughter Valerie Chartrand, Son-in-law Mike Chartrand, Great Grandson Kyle Buchberger, Son-in-law Elmer Buchberger, Half Sister Ruth (Oriville) Hoffschneider,
Brother Elroy (Agnes) Uffelman, Sister Evelyn (Pat) Avison, Sister Leona (Ken) Campbell, Brother Norman (Donna) Uffelman, Brothers-in-law: Chester Scott, Verne Scott, Colin Ashmead, Dave Mansfield and Sister-in-law Irene Bowd.
Phyllis passed away peacefully December 23,2024 at the Melfort Hospital. Well done good & faithful servant. (Matthew 25:21)
A Memorial Service for Phyllis will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Melfort, SK or to a charity of One’s Choice.
