Phyllis Wales was born on January 4, 1923 to John and Ethel Wales on the family farm west of Pleasantdale, SK. She lived on the farm with her parents until moving into Melfort in the fall of 1970. After her parents passing, she lived on her own until moving in with her daughter in 2000. She lived in Parkland Place from 2014 to the time of her passing on February 1, 2018.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents John and Ethel Wales, her brothers William, Douglas, Clifford, Dennis, Vincent and Kenneth as well as her sister Ethel.
She is survived by her daughter Gladys (Larry) of Melfort, grandsons Jeff (Jacquie) of Airdrie, Alta., Dave (Tina) of Melfort, great grandsons Tyler & Shane, great granddaughters Kelsie, Ariana & Breelyn, a great great grandson Keagan, as well as fourteen nephews and nieces.
