Richard Brittain passed away on May 20, 2025. He is survived by his wife: Maria; his children Wendy (Randy), Priscilla, Richard Lee, Dustin, Morgan; his grandchildren Zenayda, Rain; grand dogs Loki and Stark; And numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Richard is predeceased by: his daughter Audrey; his sons Chad, Randy, Kelly, Elmer; his parents Eli and Clara Brittain; his brothers Hilliard, Kurt, John, William; his grandparents Maude and William Brittain; his in-laws John and Janette Sanderson; And all those who went before him.

The Wake Service for Richard will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Sakwatamo Lodge in James Smith Cree Nation.

The Funeral Service for Richard will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bernard Constant Community School Gym in James Smith Cree Nation.
