In Loving Memory of

Terry Staff (Marie Therese Boutin)

 

Born into this world on February 12, 1936 in the family home in Eldersley, Saskatchewan.

Left this life peacefully in her sleep at age 89 years and 9 months on November 16, 2025 at her home in Melfort, Saskatchewan.

Married on November 9, 1957 to Adolph Staff, together they raised 5 children; Douglas, Eric, Valerie, Rodney and Gary.

Predeceased by her husband Adolph Staff; her oldest son Douglas; grandson Gared; granddaughters: Nickole and Kaytlyn; her parents: Elphege Boutin and Berta Lamontagne; brother Paul Boutin; sisters: Helen Haller and Jean Williams; sisters-in-law: Florence Boutin and Irma Evenson; brothers-in-law: Herve Floch, George Williams, John Evenson, Lenard Staff and Elwyn Staff.

Left to mourn and cherish the memories: her children: Eric, Valerie, Rodney (Carole) and Gary; grandchildren: Tori, Brody (Megan), Justin (Kelsey), Ryley, Shayla, Cason and great grandchildren: Damien, Charles “Charlie” (on the way), Quinton (Tori); daughter-in-law Amy; sister Marie Floch; brothers-in-law: Ray Haller, Jim (Marilyn) Brady and sister-in-law Linda Staff and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

Mom was raised along with her siblings on the family farm in Eldersley, attending grade school in Eldersley and finished at the convent in Zenon Park. She trained for a short time at the Tisdale Hospital.  She went on to study in Regina, began working in Melfort at a bank, met and married the love of her life Adolph Staff, raised 5 children, started working again at the Melfort Union Hospital until she retired.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation she built her life upon, devoting time healing others and expressing herself in many creative ways, gardening, traveling to many places and enjoyed most of all, the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass was held for Terry on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Cemetery, Melfort, SK.
