Following the Amber Alert situation in the Battlefords area earlier this week, much discussion has resulted about what an emergency of that nature entails.

A program in the Northeast aims to empower women and children through the relationships with horses.

Although this program isn’t about teaching participants how to ride horses. In fact, they don’t ride the horses at all.

Neonatal unit to benefit from ambitious fundraiser

It is a bold but critical goal. The Victoria Hospital Foundation (VHF) is embarking on a multi-year campaign with an end goal of raising $2.2 million to expand and upgrade the hospital’s Level 2 Neonatal Unit for the sickest babies.
