Sask. Winter Games: Rivers West win 8 medals in alpine ski-cross
Although a total of 18 medals were up for grabs in alpine skiing on day two of the Saskatchewan Winter Games, 19 medals were awarded in the end, due to a tie for the bronze in the U-16 male ski-cross.
Of the 19 that were awarded, Rivers West won an impressive eight, with three gold, three silver, and two bronze.
Lakeland and Regina each won three medals, Saskatoon and Prairie Central each won two, and South East won one.
After winning gold on Monday for Rivers West in the U-16 female slalom with a combined time of 1:18.74, Nadine Fehr repeated that success on Tuesday with yet another gold, this time in the U-16 female ski-cross.
