Melfort Fire Department responds to early morning barn fire

Windchills around minus 46 Celsius greeted the Melfort Fire Department as they were called to a barn fire in the R.M. of Flett’s Springs.
The barn collapsed by the time crews arrived just after 5:30 a.m., and they made sure the flames didn’t spread beyond the barn.
The fire was deemed to be accidental in nature.
No one was injured.
