Court hears Dennis Oland asked for cash advances before father’s murder
SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Dennis Oland’s former boss says he asked for cash advances in the weeks before his multimillionaire father was murdered in his New Brunswick office.
John Travis, who was Oland’s former boss at CIBC Wood Gundy, took the stand today in Saint John, N.B.
Court heard that before the murder in 2011, Oland asked Travis for advances on his pay to get him through a “crunch period.”
