“What we’ve tried to do is build a community and it has really worked. We’ve got a lot of good people here and many have been tenants since we opened.”

Amy added, “It is a totally different atmosphere than just a campground where people rent for the weekend. We have campers and their extended families that have been renting sites for years and we’ve watched their kids grow up here. Its fun to see how everyone gets to know each other.”

There’s never a dull moment, whether you enjoy hiking, quadding, birdwatching, swimming, kayaking or fishing. They even offer guided fishing services.

“We offer half day and full day packages and depending on timing we can provide accommodations. We have four guides including myself,” said Roger. “We can’t guarantee you’ll catch fish, but we can guarantee you’ll have a great time.”

New for 2024 is the Sunset Ridge boat launch and recreation area, ideally located across the highway adjacent to the campground. This new development is beautifully designed and includes a fillet shack, public washroom, playground and picnic area, adding to the convenience that Tobin Lake Leisure has to offer. Access is included in the seasonal rates for the residents of the campground and ensures easy access to Tobin Lake’s pristine waters, opening up a world of aquatic adventures and some of the best fishing in the country.
