Four people who were charged in connection to several incidents earlier in the week made their first appearance in Melfort Provincial Court on Thursday, March 7.

Crown prosecutors opposed bail release for two 20-year-old men, Brandon Peeteetuce and Dorion Loessl, who face charges including assault with intent to commit robbery and disguise with intent.

Crown also opposed the release of two women who accompanied the two men, 22-year-old Rikki Steinkey and 23-year-old Tonisha Fulton. Both are charged with armed robbery and part to offence of robbery.

The string of incidents began in the afternoon on Monday, March 4 when Peeteetuce and Loessel allegedly robbed a Prince Albert gas station using a firearm.
