Vandalism spree in Cudworth under investigation

Apr 16, 2019 | 12:22 PM

A vandalism spree in the town of Cudworth is under investigation by Wakaw RCMP.

Multiple reports of vandalism came in to the detachment just after 10 p.m. on Saturday night.

Mounties say houses, vehicles, and commercial property were spray painted with various slogans and wording.

Evidence has been seized from the various scenes but RCMP are looking for more information from the public.

Anyone with details is asked to contact the Wakaw detachment.

Resident Randy Crone told northeastNOW he will host a meeting tonight in hopes of gathering more information on the number of victims. He said roughly 30 properties or vehicles were hit by the spree.

The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. at 508 Main Street.
