Break and Enter

Accused pleads not guilty in Tisdale break and enter, assault case

Jun 18, 2019 | 12:40 PM

A man accused in a Tisdale break and enter case has elected to be tried in provincial court in front of a judge alone.

Tyler Waldner appeared in Tisdale court on Tuesday, June 18 and pleaded not guilty to his four charges, which includes break and enter, two counts of assault with weapon, and possession of weapon.

The charges stem from a Nov. 23 incident when RCMP responded to a residence in Tisdale for a break and enter. The occupants of the home were treated for exposure to bear spray after the incident.

Waldner was arrested a short time later along with a 14-year-old youth.
