Melfort’s Ken Singer inducted into broadcast hall of fame
Over five decades in the broadcasting industry was honoured on Friday as Ken Singer was inducted into the Saskatchewan Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Singer began his career in 1967 at CKOM, and ended here in Melfort back in November when he retired. Singer had a 22 year stint at CKCK in Regina between the two as well.
“I am honoured and just very grateful at an amazing 52 years in this business,” Singer said.
Over 25 of his broadcasting years were spent with CJVR in Melfort where he was on-air and then moved into the role of Vice President of Broadcast Operations for FabMar Communications.
