The following are Volunteer Service Opportunities in Kinistino and Birch Hills for the week of January 27, 2020.

The Volunteer Service Department is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fill the following service positions:

Family Visiting Program – Jubilee Lodge, Kinistino (306) 864-2851

Volunteering as a family can bring families closer together. Family members along with their young children can visit residents on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to make a positive impact in the life of the resident. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Shifts: Flexible.

Recreation Opportunities – Birchview Home, Birch Hills (306) 749-3488

Responsibilities include assisting with crafts, shopping trips, special functions, exercise programs, bowling groups, horticulture, painting, baking, etc. Volunteers assist staff with set up and take down of program.

Shifts: Flexible

Meals on Wheels – Home Care Prince Albert, Birch Hills, Kinistino,

Adult volunteers are needed to assist with delivering meals to Home Care clients.

Shifts: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
