Nipawin Hawks games broadcasting on Saskatchewan’s Beach Radio

The Nipawin Hawks have their nest for hockey season.

Hawks fans can turn their radio dials to 750 AM or visit beachradiosk.ca throughout the 2020-21 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season, as Saskatchewan’s Beach Radio will broadcast 25 away games in the regular season and the Hawks’ entire playoff run.

Beach Radio Sales Manager Dave Marcoux couldn’t stress enough how happy he was to have the Hawks on their airwaves.

“Our goal has always been to be very community involved and with the addition of the Hawks we continue to do that in Nipawin,” Marcoux said. “Our large coverage area Beach SK Radio will bring the Hawks to all its fans over the province, which is our goal. The community of Nipawin and its surrounding area is important for our radio stations.”

Clark Stork will provide play-by-play commentary for the Hawks throughout the SJHL season. The first game will be broadcasted on Beach Radio on Friday, Nov. 6 when the Hawks visit the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Pre-game show begins at 7:15 p.m. with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
