A pop-up show by the 12th City Artist Collective begins today at RJ’s Urban Garden in Melfort.

The small works show and sale will be set-up in the cafe until Dec. 12 as well as online.

Artist Joanne Bolen said the group is made up of six area artists.

“Each one of the artists will put in 10 works into the show,” Bolen said. “The first week each of us will showcase five works and then we will switch them out for the next week.”

The group has been getting together on a regular basis for the past year to critique works, to learn from each other and even give each other homework to do between meetings.

The collective wanted to have a small works show ahead of Christmas to feature art that is 12×12 or under, and the pieces featured would also make good Christmas gifts.

“Of course, with COVID we will have it online also so the pieces are on our Facebook event,” Bolen said.

The art can be viewed during regular business hours at RJ’s or a time can be arranged to view by calling the cafe.

These works will be available for viewing at RJ's Urban Garden Café in Melfort, SK Dec. 7 – 12th. They will also be…
