Feb 2, 2021 | 2:40 PM
The Melfort Mustangs have added a defenceman for the 2021/2022 season.
Max Mills, who was born in 2003, will join the Mustangs next season. The 6’1″ 181 pound defender from Lloydminster, spent the past two seasons with the Lloydminster Bobcats in the U18 AAA ranks in Alberta. Prior to the pause due to COVID-19 this season, Mills had one goal and four assists in four games for the Bobcats. In 2019/2020, Mills scored one goal and had an assist for two points.
“Max is a skilled defenceman that uses his size very well,” Mustangs head coach and general manager Trevor Blevins said in a release. “He brings a lot of assets to our blue line and we are happy to welcome him to the organization.”
