Mustangs commit former Trojan for 2021/2022 season

The Melfort Mustangs drove down Highway 3 for their latest player commitment.

Lare Pahtayken, a 2003-born defenceman from Onion Lake, Sask., has committed to the Mustangs for the 2021/2022 season.

He started this season with the Tisdale Trojans, where he had one assist in three games.

“Lare is a versatile player that can play both forward and defence,” Mustangs head coach and general manager Trevor Blevins said in a release. “He likes to activate offensively into the play and is a big strong player with lots of skill.”

Prior to his time with the Trojans, Pahtayken played the 2019/2020 season with the Golden Rockets of the British Columbia Junior B ranks.
