Humboldt dominates Stars in weekend home and home
After a couple of split games in the past weeks the Humboldt Broncos came back to dominate the Battlefords North Stars in a home and home series that ended with a win at the Elgar Petersen arena.
The Broncos headed to the Access Communications Arena on Oct. 8 for the first of the series.
An uneventful first period led to the North Stars dominating the second with two goals from Battlefords’ Colby Bear and Easton Johns sending the Broncos into the second at 0-2.
The tables would turn for the Broncos in the third as Braiden Koran, Alec Saretzky; on the power play, and Cage Newans all had a chance to bury the puck and wrap up the game with a 3-2 win.
