Mustangs going for five straight in Yorkton, after Teddy Bear Toss win against Kindersley
The Melfort Mustangs pushed their win streak to four in a row Friday night, edging out the Kindersley Klippers by a score of 2-1.
The contest marked the Mustangs’ annual Teddy Bear Toss night, as Hayden Prosofsky sent the teddies flying just over two minutes in.
“It obviously feels good to get one in my last year, a 20-year-old teddy bear toss goal, it was pretty cool and pretty exciting,” he told northeastNOW.
Melfort then wouldn’t score for another 56 and a half minutes, as Zac Somers had the game-winner after the Klippers had tied it midway through the second.
