Apr 10, 2024 | 5:02 PM

UPDATE: Savannah Burns was arrested by Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team in the community of Little Red River on Thursday.

Saskatchewan RCMP are asking the public for help in tracking down a 22-year-old woman.

The Mounties are asking the public to report all sightings and information regarding the whereabouts of Savannah Burns.

Burns is wanted by Prince Albert RCMP for failure to comply with release order conditions and failure to attend court. This stems from aggravated assault and forcible confinement charges which were laid after an investigation into a September 2023 incident on Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Burns is also wanted by Big River RCMP and Melfort RCMP for failure to attend court related to other charges, including possession of property obtained by crime and resisting a peace officer.

Warrants have been issued for her arrest.

Burns is described as five feet nine inches tall and 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and has a tattoo on her left forearm.

RCMP said Burns is known to visit Sturgeon Lake First Nation, James Smith Cree Nation, and Prince Albert.

If you have any information you are asked to contact your local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
