Suspects who returned to scene of theft sought by Melfort RCMP

Apr 19, 2024 | 5:57 AM

RCMP are looking for some out-of-province suspects involved in a theft in Melfort.

The suspects were spotted in the city on April 18, three weeks after a theft in which they stole about $5,000-8,000 worth of merchandise from the same business.

Workers at the business recognized the suspects, confronted them, and they left the store. The suspects did not steal anything this time around.

The men’s identities are unknown but they are responsible for thefts from businesses in other parts of the province.

Several social media posts indicated the men were in the city on Tuesday.

If you spot the suspects or their vehicle, you’re asked to contact your local RCMP detachment or police service.
