Amber alert cancelled, baby found safe

An Amber Alert issued at the request of Waskesiu RCMP has been cancelled.

A five-day-old baby that was allegedly abducted from the health centre in Montreal Lake has been located in Big River. An update from the RCMP said the baby appears to be safe and will be assessed by emergency medical services. The suspect is in custody.
