Melfort, Tisdale among teams to advance in high school football playoffs

The Melfort Comets have advanced to the 4A nine-man high school football semi-finals.

The Comets clubbed Fort Qu’Appelle 98-24 on the weekend to advance to host Lumsden, this Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Tisdale Tornadoes are in the other semi-final after upending Melville 35-20.

Tisdale will travel to Delisle on Saturday.

In 2A six-man playoffs, Wakaw beat Unity 66-53 and they move on to host Southey, after their 42-33 win over Watrous.
