Saskatchewan company to open flax plant in Weyburn
Prairie Clean Enterprises (PCE), a Saskatchewan-based agricultural clean-tech company, will launch the world’s first facility to process flax straw.
PCE is in the final stages of raising capital to make it a reality.
Located in Weyburn, it will produce industrial-grade fibre, and premium pellets for animal care and consumer use.
Construction for engineering enhancements on the leased PCE facility is set to begin this month, with equipment arriving in August and full production launching by September.
